We generally ship via USPS for most purchases, unless another carrier is requested or required.
Shipping costs have skyrocketed. As much as I would love to offer free shipping, the bulk and weight of most of these gowns makes that prohibitive (without considerably jacking-up the sale price, which means that you're still paying for shipping ~ one way or another). I'd rather be transparent and show/charge the actual shipping fees.
We package our gowns well. Meaning, that we never mash our gowns into unrecognizable mounds of fabric in order to force them into a smaller sized box or mailer. Our gowns are treated just as carefully during the shipping process as they are while in our inventory. Each is wrapped in tissue paper, then placed into a clear plastic shipping bag (inside the box) in order to prevent mishaps during shipping (particularly any wet weather that could seep through the box and destroy a gown). The only time that a gown or dress is not wrapped in tissue paper is if the buyer requests that it is to be shipped on a hanger, inside a garment bag, so that it's ready to hang upon arrival.
Shipping times can vary, depending upon holidays or weekend schedules. If measurements are to be compared, that will delay shipping a bit; otherwise, we try to ship our gowns as quickly as possible, usually within the 3-5 day range.

USPS:This is our preferred carrier. While all shipping methods are still pricey, the U.S. Postal Service's Priority shipping seems to make the most sense, in most cases.

UPS:We certainly are open to shipping via UPS, and in some cases, UPS has better pricing. If you'd prefer to use UPS, please ask us for a comparative shipping quote.
|
FedEx:As previously stated, we are open to shipping via other carriers, including FedEx. In many cases, due to the bulk and weight of vintage wedding gowns, FedEx has been the more expensive option, but certainly it's an option.

To purchase an item, or items, from this site, please use the 'Add to Cart' button to the right of each item.
At any time, you may 'View Cart' (buttons are located at the top of each page) to review or revise your shopping cart.
PayPal allows the purchaser to have the flexibility to use a credit card, bank account, or other methods, to pay online. It also offers a 'buy now, pay later' option within the PayPal system itself, which might be helpful to some buyers. For these reasons, it's the only payment option that we've chosen, and you will find a PayPal 'Add to Cart' button under each item, in order to make purchasing and paying an efficient and simple process.
HOWEVER!!! Please DO NOT forget to compare measurements first! I strongly suggest that you contact me PRIOR to purchasing a gown or dress in order to compare your measurements to the gown! Why? To ensure a good fit. It's truly the only way.
Any gown, at any time, could've been altered, so I never refer to a gowns' size tag (if it has one). Never. Also, vintage gowns were sized quite differently. Measurement comparison is the only way to determine if a gown will fit. After doing this for 25 years, I can assure you that measurement comparison is the only way, besides actually trying the item on, to be certain that the gown or dress will fit and that you are not making an unwise purchase.
As always, if you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to help.
