These professionals can help you transform your vintage wedding gown by altering it to suit your needs, or by creating something completely custom and unique. I do not endorse the knowledge, background, or skill level of any particular sewing professional contained within this list; however, each listing with a highlighted name is a member of 'Association of Sewing and Design Professionals' (ASDP, formerly 'PACC'). Click on the name to view their ASDP profile page & to glean additional information.

While the name of this page is 'seamstress directory', please note that 'seamstress' is a vintage term used to describe those who make it their profession to sew beautiful things. Nowadays, that term has been replaced with dressmaker, custom clothier, clothing designer, and the like. Please make no mistake that these modern sewing professionals are one of the best connections that you will ever make when it comes to vintage or custom clothing and alterations.
