1950's (c. 1956) Tulle, Lace & Beaded Slipper Satin Bridal Tea-Length Dress
The ivory slipper satin and crisp white tulle go-together beautifully in this 1950's tea-length wedding dress. Most prominent, the V'd illusion neckline & collar, both with seed pearl- & sequin-accented ribbon lace. The full tulle skirt is accented with horizontal rows of the same (non-beaded) ribbon lace. The two (2) layers of tulle are intact and in excellent condition. Dress has button-&-loop closures up the back and on the sleeves. Fully lined. No train, of course. Dress scores a 8.5 out of 10 due to a faint spot area on the skirts' ribbon lace (see photo), missing button (easy fix, just ask me), and a very light smear discoloration on one sleeve (at wrist). Otherwise, the gown is in extremely good condition for its age.
