1970's Aqua/Robin's Egg Blue Chiffon Gown w/Harlequin-Style Beaded Bodice & Long Sleeves

Aqua (robin's egg) blue gowns was an extremely popular colour back in the 1970's. My mother's kitchen was this exact same shade of blue......with avocado green appliances.....
The diamond pattern of the beading on this gown make it almost appear quilted, but I assure you that it's not. Actually, I rather like the harlequin pattern ~ it's different. A few of the silver bugle beads are missing on the front bodice, but these would not be difficult to replace. This gown is all chiffon and is fully lined. The long sleeves are sheer, as is the attached neck scarf/drape. There is one spot on the chiffon (see photo) that I have not tried to remove (yet). The skirt is very full and has that 'billowing' effect when you walk. Back zipper.
